Cecilio Bisana cleaned house early to lead JSN, 23-13, at the end of the first quarter.

It was Jun Tabora and Ben Pelisamen’s turn in the second and third quarter as they made baskets at every open opportunity. Their defense held strong as well and Tabora and Pelisamen buried Lakay under a 20-point deficit heading into the second half.

Lakay could not slow JSN’s momentum as they tried to tackle their shots from outside the perimeter. Despite a 14-point effort by John Jugos, J.R. Torres’ 11 markers, and Julius Domine’s 10 points, Lakay came up way short and lost by a staggering 30 points.

Legends 83 – Villacrusis 24, Abuy 18, De Guzman 16, Binuya 8, Tibayan 7, Fitial 4, Lizama 2, De Jesus 2, Zapata 2.

Vizion 58 – Baul 12, Jumaquio 12, Catalla 9, Sedillo 7, Galvez 6, Tenorio 5, Pablo 3, Sangoyo 2, Capuyan 2.

Scoring by quarters: 13-10, 38-26, 62-42, 83-58.

JSN 88 – Pelisamen 24, Tabora 19, Bisana 15, Berline 12, Manabat 4, Joyner 4, Umali 2.

New San Antonio Market-Lakay 58 – Jugos 14, Torres 11, Domine 10, Isip 8, Saplan 6, Camacho 6, Culansag 2, Borja 1.

Scoring by quarters: 21-13, 46-26, 72-46, 88-58.

In this file photo, Legends team, right, and Blue Haus team pose for the opening jump ball of the Inaugural SMEC-SMLEG Invitational Basketball Tournament 2023 at the Gualo Rai Basketball Court.

-CONTRIBUTED PHOTO

The Final Four is finally set for the master’s division in the dragged-out Inaugural SMEC-SMLEG…

[5

post-400137","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-sports
["GET
