{"id":400528,"date":"2023-10-12T14:00:00","date_gmt":"2023-10-12T14:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=400528"},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-29T14:00:00","slug":"ACS-dominates-HS-cross-country-qualifier-finale","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/ACS-dominates-HS-cross-country-qualifier-finale\/","title":{"rendered":"ACS dominates HS cross country qualifier finale"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Agape Christian School boys and girls high school cross country teams dominated the last PSS\/NMA All Schools Cross Country 2023-2024 qualifier\u2014the Kagman High School Invitational at ChaCha Ocean View MIddle School last Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>The Torchbearers made a clean sweep of the high school division with 15 points for the boys division. Second was Marianas High School with 34 points, and Mount Carmel School came in third place with 54 points.<\/p>\n<p>The ACS girls in the high school division gathered 24 points for first place. Second place was KHS with 47 points.<\/p>\n<p>The Torchbearers also claimed first place in the middle school boys division with 36 points. ChaCha Ocean View Middle School and Saipan International School had 59 points each.<\/p>\n<p>In the high school boys individual standings, ACS\u2019 Jireh Wang came in first with a time of 20;41.91; a close second was ACS\u2019 Samuel Zhu at 20:56.91; and third was MCS\u2019 Victor Santos with a time of 21:00.63.<\/p>\n<p>Top 3 in the high school girls standings are SIS\u2019 Kaithlyn Chavez who clocked in at 24:16.44; KHS\u2019 Pia Ngewakl at 27:16.46; and ACS\u2019 Barbara Wang who came in at 28:20.39.<\/p>\n<p>Top 3 in the middle school boys individual standings are SIS\u2019 Quido Jambor with a time of 12:10.29; ACS\u2019 Raffy Cai at 12:14.82; and ACS\u2019 Daniel Yang with a time of 12:40.22.<\/p>\n<p>The 3-mile course for the high school cross country wrapped around ChaCha Middle School, Kagman Elementary School, up to Forbidden Island Lookout, and back to the elementary school.
