{"id":401600,"date":"2023-11-17T02:37:00","date_gmt":"2023-11-17T02:37:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=401600"},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-29T14:00:00","slug":"PSS-secures-place-in-Tuesdays-Final","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/PSS-secures-place-in-Tuesdays-Final\/","title":{"rendered":"PSS secures place in Tuesdays Final"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Public School System crushed Marpac 73-63 last Tuesday in the 2023 R&amp;J Wine and Liquor Inter-Government Business League&#8217;s playoffs sealing their place in Monday&#8217;s Finals to take place at the Ada Gymnasium in Susupe.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>With both teams undefeated up to that point in the playoffs, the supporters were highly anticipating a good game, and PSS came in hot and in just the first quarter put their mark on the board 22-12. Marpac tried to catch up but attempts weren&#8217;t as successful as hoped with the second quarter ending in 15 point deficit, favoring PSS at a 40-25.<\/p>\n<p>The third quarter ended looking more hopeful as Marpac kicked butt and moved that 15 point divide down to a six point defict with their 47 against PSS&#8217; 53.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the night it was PSS who took home the win with a 73-63.<\/p>\n<p>PSS 73- Tekopua 18, Basa 15, Valencia 13, Sakisat 10, Ferran 6, Winkfield 4, T. Palacios 2, E. Palacios 2, Masaharu 2, Mendez 1.<\/p>\n<p>Marpac 63- Santos 25, Castro 20, G. Sablan 6, Mettao 4, Babauta 4, H.
