{"id":401706,"date":"2023-11-21T14:00:00","date_gmt":"2023-11-21T14:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=401706"},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-29T14:00:00","slug":"Hawaii-s-Shriners-hospital-to-hold-Saipan-outreach","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/Hawaii-s-Shriners-hospital-to-hold-Saipan-outreach\/","title":{"rendered":"Hawaii\u2019s Shriners hospital to hold Saipan outreach"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In collaboration with the Commonwealth Healthcare Corp., Shriners Hospitals for Children-Honolulu will conduct outreach clinics on Saipan from Nov. 30 to Dec. 2, 2023, at the CHCC Children\u2019s Clinic for scheduled patients.<\/p>\n<p>To qualify for care through Shriners Hospitals for Children, the patient must be below 18 years old and have an orthopedic condition that can be treated. Orthopedic conditions that have been treated by Shriners include:<\/p>\n<p>Scoliosis<\/p>\n<p>Clubfeet<\/p>\n<p>Foot pain and problems<\/p>\n<p>Hip dysplasia<\/p>\n<p>Hand pain and problems<\/p>\n<p>Knee and joint pains<\/p>\n<p>Cerebral palsy<\/p>\n<p>Musculoskeletal conditions<\/p>\n<p>Syndromes associated with musculoskeletal disorders<\/p>\n<p>For new patients, an intake form must be completed prior to scheduling an appointment. Deray, CSHCN program manager at (670) 236-8709 or (670) 783-1613, shiella.deray@chcc.health.<\/p>\n<p>Care is provided to the child regardless of the family\u2019s ability to pay and there will be no co-pay or facility fee charged to patients for evaluations and consultations with Shriners providers. However, there may be charges incurred for other services such as ultrasounds, X-rays, and CT scans.<\/p>\n<p>The Shriners Hospital of Honolulu has satellite clinics throughout the state of Hawaii and islands in the Pacific basin.
