Ada Gymnasium.<\/p>\n<p>Their most recent conquest was CPA, who they defeated, 97-67, on Wednesday, and handed MarPac their first loss of the season last Oct. 24, 82-74.<\/p>\n<p>In their game against CPA, PSS started to pull away from them in the third quarter after a close first half.<\/p>\n<p>CPA got within 4 points, 39-43, at the end of the second quarter, but thanks to PSS\u2019 more accurate jumpers and bank shots, along with the outside of 3-point man Preston Basa, PSS established their lead in the third quarter and enforced tight-defensive pressure on CPA\u2019s offense.<\/p>\n<p>CPA mainstay Donovan Brennan tried to carry his team with consecutive 3-pointers of his own, but without much help from the rest of his teammates, fell short in the end.<\/p>\n<p>They could not recover from the mounting lead that PSS created from the beginning of the third quarter with great passes and assists\u2014as well as back-to-back field goals by Melvin Sakisat and Mii Tekopua toward the end of the fourth quarter.<\/p>\n<p>In the end, Sakisat was a ball magnet with 28 points, followed by Mii Tekopua\u2019s 18 markers, and Basa\u2019s 11 points. Brennan came away with 36 points, while David Camacho made 15.<\/p>\n<p>In other results that night, Federals won a close one over Docomo, 58-52.
