{"id":40195,"date":"2014-07-01T04:00:22","date_gmt":"2014-06-30T18:00:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=40195"},"modified":"2014-07-01T04:00:22","modified_gmt":"2014-06-30T18:00:22","slug":"car-driven-alleged-intoxicated-man-causes-vehicular-accident","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/car-driven-alleged-intoxicated-man-causes-vehicular-accident\/","title":{"rendered":"Car driven by alleged intoxicated man causes vehicular accident"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A man was injured when a car being driven by an alleged intoxicated man swerved into the opposite lane on Middle Road and hit his vehicle Saturday night.<\/p>\n<p>The accident happened at about 7:25pm in front of a building where the office of Safety 1st Systems CNMI Inc. and Sherwin Williams Paint Store are located.<\/p>\n<p>The victim was injured in the mouth and was taken to the Commonwealth Health Center. His passengers\u2014a daughter and an infant\u2014were not injured, Saipan Tribune learned.<\/p>\n<p>The alleged intoxicated driver was also taken to CHC after he complained of chest pains.<\/p>\n<p>Both vehicles had extensive damage on the front bumper portion.<\/p>\n<p>It was not clear whether the alleged intoxicated driver was arrested after the incident.
