Eloy S. Inos appointed yesterday Eric Henry C. San Nicolas to serve on the Commonwealth Utilities Corp. board of directors representing Tinian.<\/p>\n<p>The initial appointment requires the Senate\u2019s advice and consent.  If confirmed, San Nicolas will serve a four-year term that begins on the date of his Senate confirmation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am fully aware of the important work before the Board and I am confident that he is qualified and will be an asset to this Board,\u201d the governor said in his letter to Senate President Ralph Torres (R-Saipan).  The administration said it will later provide the Senate with copies of San Nicolas\u2019 resume, statement of financial interest, police clearance, drug test receipt and drug test result.<\/p>\n<p>The Senate has yet to schedule a public hearing on San Nicolas\u2019 appointment.  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Gov.
