{"id":404319,"date":"2024-01-02T14:00:00","date_gmt":"2024-01-02T14:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=404319"},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-29T14:00:00","slug":"Blake-wins-grand-prize-in-SCS-customer-appreciation-raffle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/Blake-wins-grand-prize-in-SCS-customer-appreciation-raffle\/","title":{"rendered":"Blake wins grand prize in SCS customer appreciation raffle"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Retiree David Blake is now the proud owner of a 24-inch Apple iMac after winning the grand prize of Saipan Computer Services\u2019 Customer Appreciation Raffle Promo.<\/p>\n<p>In a raffle drawing held last Friday at the SCS office along Beach Road, Blake\u2019s lucky ticket number 00235 was drawn as the grand prize winner.<\/p>\n<p>In a phone interview, Blake said it was wonderful to win the SCS grand prize and admitted it was the first time he has ever won in a big raffle like the one held by the computer shop.<\/p>\n<p>Ni Made Suwani won the second and seventh top prizes of an 11.6-inch Dell Latitude 3120 laptop and a Google Nest Hub, respectively; while the third top prize, a 10.6-inch Lenova M10 Plus 128-GB tablet, went to Katsubumi Tsukagoshi.<\/p>\n<p>Keiko Fujiwara won the fourth top prize of a Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and two $30 SCS gift certificate and the fifth top prize of a Strata Home Pro Cordless Vacuum went to Maggie Masga.<\/p>\n<p>Rosebeth Gregorio and John Davis won the last two major prizes, a Canon Ivy Cliq2 Instant Camera Printer and an Echo Dot Smart Speaker Built-in Clock, respectively. Six others won $30 SCS gift certificates.<\/p>\n<p>Emcee Bobby Bogart of KZMI, on behalf of the winners, thanked SCS, especially owner Jerry P. Tiu, for holding the 2023 Customer Appreciation Raffle Promo.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSeriously, is there any other company on island that shows appreciation to their customers more than Saipan Computer Services? It&#8217;s amazing. Think about it: of all the companies\u2014big or small\u2014that have giveaways like this and try to do it every single year, no matter what the economy is for the customers, strictly for their customers. It&#8217;s amazing!\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Tiu, for his part, also congratulated the winners of their raffle promotion and thanked all SCS customers not only this past year but the previous years. He also wished the local economy will be better this upcoming year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe raffle\u2019s done. Of course, we want it to be better next year. Question is how\u2019s our economy? We want it to be better this year. Question is compared to last year, how was the economy this year?
