{"id":404568,"date":"2024-01-19T14:00:00","date_gmt":"2024-01-19T14:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=404568"},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-29T14:00:00","slug":"Police-presence-increased-at-COVMS","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/Police-presence-increased-at-COVMS\/","title":{"rendered":"Police presence increased at COVMS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Department of Public Safety has increased its presence at the Chacha Oceanview Middle School in response to an unauthorized entry that resulted in a verbal altercation last Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>DPS divulged in a press statement yesterday few details about the unauthorized entry reported at the COVMS last Wednesday morning, besides saying it has increased its presence in the area.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, DPS stated that the incident is under investigation and no arrest has been made yet.<\/p>\n<p>According to an earlier DPS news release, it said the police department received a call at around 11:31am on Jan. 17, reporting a disturbance at COVMS in Kagman.<\/p>\n<p>Upon arrival, campus staff informed responding officers that a male individual had attempted to confront a faculty member and had become angry upon being asked to leave by the school staff.
