The Reds have won two straight games for a record of six wins and three losses in the 2023 Tan Holdings-SBL Masters League.<\/p>\n

Their recent conquest was against the Blue Jays, in a close 11-10 game last Tuesday, and last Jan. 19, they beat the Marlins, 14-11 at the Francisco \u201cTan Ko\u201d Palacios Baseball Field.<\/p>\n

In their game against the Blue Jays, they were shot down from the sky again as they blew yet another lead toward the end of the game. The Reds went scoreless for four straight innings, giving the Blue Jays an early lead.<\/p>\n

The Blue Jays drew first blood in the second inning as they scored three runs from Manny Cabrera, Paul Salalila, and Julian Salalila. Another run scored in the third for a 4-0 Blue Jays lead and they were on the hunt for more.<\/p>\n

The Reds could not seem to score, falling from strikeouts by strikeout king Kevin Kapileo, and it seemed that they wouldn\u2019t get a run in. The Blue Jays added to their tally in the fourth with three more runs, for a 7-0 lead.<\/p>\n

However, after seven unanswered runs, the Reds\u2019 lumber came to life in the fifth inning. They scored eight runs after a Blue Jays\u2019 pitching change and in a change of the tide, led by one run, 8-7.<\/p>\n

It wasn\u2019t over yet as the Blue Jays took the lead again in the sixth when they scored two runs, 9-8, but the Reds never give up attitude gave them the extra boost when they scored a much needed three runs to once again be in the lead, 11-9.<\/p>\n

That was it for the see-saw of runs as the Blue Jays failed to get the lead back and they settled with the loss after they scored just one more run.<\/p>\n

The Reds\u2019 Hector Efraim led the charge with two hits from three at-bats, scored one run, and collected two RBIs. Shawn Matsutaro helped him out by also bringing in two RBIs and one run.<\/p>\n

In last Wednesday\u2019s game, the Marlins won via a 30-14 blowout against the Spartans.<\/p>\n
