The Echoes of Time a cappella<\/em> concert headlined by DYNMX last Saturday at the Marianas High School cafeteria was a rip-roaring success.<\/p>\n

The concert comprised of two acts featuring not only songs from DYNMX, but also performances from MHS glee club Rhythm \u2018N Harmony, Profound Bandits, and Marianas Got Talent Season 1 singers Donovan Castro, Arriane Antonio, Bernice Sabino, and Lorenzy Leo.<\/p>\n

Donna Bartolo directed the concert with Brent Espineda co-directing.<\/p>\n

One of the magical moments of the concert happened when DYNMX\u2014made up of MHS glee club alumni\u2014joined MHS Rhythm N\u2019 Harmony for several numbers.<\/p>\n

Espineda shared that he was grateful for the turnout and thanked all the support shown.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was perfect and DYNMX is so proud of how the concert turned out considering that we worked so hard to bring our vision to life. Echoes of Time was a complete success. It was quite unexpected to receive messages from people I never met saying that the concert was amazing. I also heard feedback from people who aren\u2019t even interested in a cappella saying, \u2018It was the best concert I\u2019ve watched!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Harold Easton, MHS Rhythm N\u2019 Harmony advisor and MHS teacher, said \u201cIt\u2019s really good to see that they still have the enthusiasm and talent they all demonstrated when they were part of Rhythm \u2018N Harmony. Members of this group go back as far as 2015 and it shows the consistency and the strength of the organization.\u201d<\/p>\n

Espineda also shared his personal favorite moments \u201c\u2026during the break when we would fumble around changing attire, talking about how first act went, visiting the crowd, using the lavatory, and rushing to get backstage before time was up. On stage, we ensured to present a perfect persona but in reality, we\u2019re just a bunch of friends just vibing and having fun.\u201d<\/p>\n

When asked how the team put everything together, Espineda said since they worked on something they were all passionate about, getting inspiration wasn\u2019t that hard.<\/p>\n

He also gave a shoutout to Almay Williams, who created charms for DYNMX and sold them at the concert to help with fundraising.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m so proud to say that our merch was almost sold out. If anyone would like to have custom charms made from her, please contact her on IG, @madebyalmayshared.\u201d<\/p>\n

Espineda also added that the group felt very grateful for the community\u2019s support and that they were able to reach their goal. \u201cWe reached our goal and then some. DYNMX would like to thank everyone who supported us by watching our concert and donating. We couldn\u2019t have done it without you. We are so grateful. We are so glad that you all enjoyed the concert as this was something that we worked so hard for. To be honest, we can\u2019t even believe we were able to pull off something like this as we\u2019re all just a bunch of college students.\u201d<\/p>\n

The group also wishes to share its gratitude to those who helped make the concert possible, namely Easton, Paul Dujua, MHS principal Jonathan Aguon, MHS vice principal Romolo Orsini, Northern Marianas College coordinators Victoria Bellas and Maia Pangelinan, and others who helped spread the word about the concert.<\/p>\n

A cappella group DYNMX and Marianas High School\u2019s Rhythm N\u2019 Harmony joined together for a breathtaking a cappella performance of MUNA\u2019s \u201cI Know A Place,\u201d during DYNMX\u2019s Echoes of Time concert last Saturday at the Marianas High School Saipan cafeteria in Susupe.<\/p>\n
