Today on Tinian and Rota, the polls are open until 12pm and on Saipan until 6pm. You’ve still got time to vote,” said party chair Jonathan Cabrera.

On Rota and Tinian, voters can cast their ballots today from 8am to 12pm. The polling sites on Rota and Tinian, respectively, are the Guata’ Beach Park Pavilion and Tinian Fuel Services, Inc.

The Saipan polling site is open today from 8am to 6pm at the Pedro P. Tenorio Multi-Purpose Center in Susupe.

Party stalwart Peter Muña said this about his experience: “The process takes less than two minutes. Present your I.D. at the polling site, fill out your ballot, drop your ballot in the ballot box, and you’re done. I voted over the weekend, and I even received an ‘I VOTED’ sticker. I encourage all interested voters to come out to do our part in nominating the Democratic Party’s candidate for President of the United States of America!”

“As the youngest member of the national Democratic Party, I’m happy to know the Democratic Party of the Northern Marianas is given the chance to host a primary and have a say in our party’s presidential nominee,” said Joel Charfauros, a Rota poll worker. “This gives our voters and soon-to-be voters the opportunity to cast their votes and say they participated in a presidential primary. These primaries are happening all over the country and the U.S. territories. This is what democracy is about, and I encourage my friends and families on Rota to vote.”

Democrats and registered voters of the NMI who would like to participate in the primary are encouraged to get out and vote. Individuals who will be eligible to vote on or before Nov. 5, 2024, will be able to visit any of the polling sites, present their valid I.D. (e.g., a license and/or passport) and cast their vote for their Democratic presidential candidate of choice, and for their preferred delegates.

To view the Frequrntly-Asked-Questions for this year’s primary and for more information, visit www.nmidems.org, or call 484-DEMS (3367). (PR)

Democratic Presidential Primary logo

[4

post-407186","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-local-news
["GET
