{"id":407779,"date":"2024-04-17T14:00:00","date_gmt":"2024-04-17T14:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=407779"},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-29T14:00:00","slug":"Labor-streamlines-JVA-certification","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/Labor-streamlines-JVA-certification\/","title":{"rendered":"Labor streamlines JVA certification"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The CNMI Department of Labor has announced the finalization of the online Job Vacancy Announcement Certification process, aimed at providing a seamless experience for employers seeking JVA certifications.<\/p>\n<p>In an ongoing effort to modernize and enhance accessibility, the CNMI DOL has launched a new digital platform, labor.cnmi.gov, where employers can now conveniently access links and documentation required for official JVA certifications.<\/p>\n<p>To obtain a JVA certification, employers are encouraged to visit the CNMI DOL website at labor.cnmi.gov (Important Note: A JVA certification request can only be submitted once a JVA has closed).<\/p>\n<p>To submit a request, click on \u201cPost a Job\u201d under \u201cEmployers\u2019\u2019 or click on \u201cJob Vacancy Announcements\u2019\u2019 under \u201cEmployment Opportunities.\u2019\u201d Once there, access the \u201cEmployers Declaration Form\u201d located at the top center of the page. Click on \u201cEmployers Declaration Form\u201d to complete the form. Finally, select \u201cYes\u2019\u2019 under \u201cRequesting for JVA Certification\u2019\u2019 to submit an online request. You can also access the form using this shortened link: https:\/\/bit.ly\/4aMC1fI.<\/p>\n<p>Upon submission of the form, the CNMI DOL will review and verify the submission. Employers will receive an email confirmation and official verification form from DOL staff after this review. For ease of record-keeping, employers are advised to download their response as a PDF. Note that this document will not be official until a response is received from the CNMI DOL.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe implementation of this digital system marks a significant milestone in our efforts to streamline processes and enhance accessibility for our stakeholders,\u201d said Eugene Tebuteb, director of Employment Services at CNMI DOL. \u201cWe are committed to providing efficient services to employers, and this initiative aligns with that commitment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For any inquiries or assistance regarding the submission process, employers are encouraged to reach out to the CNMI DOL via email at info@dol.gov.mp.
