Anne continued to make it rain points on a hot afternoon and eventually secured the W.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Si Woo faced off against teammate Ki Won Lee and won, 6-0, 6-2, in the boys 16.<\/p>\n<p>In other results for NMI netters, Matthew Hwang routed Guam\u2019s Malachi O\u2019Brien, 6-2, 6-1, in the boys 14 division, and teammate Jihun Park made light work of Federated States of Micronesia\u2019s Prinze Skilling, 6-1, 6-3.<\/p>\n<p>NMI\u2019s Vivian Chung went on to pummel Nauru\u2019s Shaneva Stephen, 6-1, 6-1 in the girls 14 division. In the last game of the day, NMI\u2019s Lina Tsukagoshi defeated Nauru\u2019s Ester Itaia, 6-3, 6-4.<\/p>\n<p>In the girls 16 division, NMI\u2019s Hoo Wang edged compatriot Anna Kwon, 6-0, 6-3. Then, NMI\u2019s Irin Chung blanked Guam\u2019s Chloe Villafuerte, 6-0, 6-0, with NMI\u2019s Hannah Chae mirroring her with a 6-0, 6-0 win over FSM\u2019s Aja Skilling. Chae also won over Villafuerte, 6-0, 6-1 later in the day.<\/p>\n<p>The NMI\u2019s June Yu, in the boys 16 division, also silenced teammate Taher Shakir, 6-0, 6-0. The NMI\u2019s Nason Wessel then put up a good fight against FSM\u2019s Dontrick Daniel, 6-4, 6-2.
