BDE then came in at the top of the seventh and gave it their all as the top three in their lineup, Lynnae Cabrera, Oly Fritz, and Keona Tudela scored to take the lead back, 11-8.

For Bat & Boujee, they scored just enough runs to win by a run, 9-8, over the Boleras.

The Boleras led 3-2 at the end of the first, but couldn’t hold on as Bat & Boujee scored three more in the second. The Boleras’ bats had nothing to show from the second to the fourth, and finally broke through in the fifth with three runs from C.J. Lizama, Malia Pangelinan, and Vickyann Pangelinan to make it 6-5.

Bat & Boujee remained scoreless in the sixth as Boleras added two more for a bigger lead of 8-5. But then, Bat & Boujee recovered in the last inning where it mattered the most and scored four runs made by Janice Celis, Rona Ogumoro, Virly Secharmidal, and Charnessa Lizama to win, 9-8.

In the semis this Sunday, BDE is facing off against the 670 Magas Babes, and Bat & Boujee is challenging the Lady Blue Jays.

In the master’s division, Tokahao bid Wazzup adieu, 15-5.

The game was going on quietly, with not a peep from both teams until the third inning when Wazzup’s Joe Lizama hit a three-run homer for a 3-0 lead.

Tokahao still had trouble with Wazzup pitcher Marco Peter in the third, but caught a break in the fourth and scored two runs to make it 2-3. Then, Wazzup’s Chris George quickly tied it up, 3-3, in their at bat.

In a quick turn of events, the fifth inning was the beginning of the end for Wazzup as Tokahao’s bats came alive and scored 13 runs and went twice through the batting order. The game ended early as Wazzup failed to catch up and scored just one more run for a 15-5 final.

Tokahao’s Mark Villagomez, Geoff Cruz, Kolani Castro, Peter Camacho, and Manny Villagomez each scored twice for the team.

In other results, Peliliu beat Hagu Lamun, 11-7; 15-5; Man Amigos destroyed Redmen, 17-5; and Sufa doubled up on Tuturamz, 20-10.

BDE’s pitcher Jovie Omar throws a pitch during one of their games in the 2024 Budweiser Belau Amateur Softball Association league women’s division at the Dandan Softball Field.

-LEIGH GASES

Tokahao’s Robert Bansil connects with a pitch during their game in the 2024 Budweiser Belau Amateur Softball Association league master’s division last Sunday at the Dandan Softball Field.

-RUSSELLE VICENTE

[5

post-408211","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-sports
["GET
