{"id":408574,"date":"2024-05-22T14:00:00","date_gmt":"2024-05-22T14:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=408574"},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-29T14:00:00","slug":"Grotto-10K-24-registration-ongoing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/Grotto-10K-24-registration-ongoing\/","title":{"rendered":"Grotto 10K \u201824 registration ongoing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Registration for Run Saipan\u2019s very own 10K race\u2014the 3rd Annual Grotto 10K \u201924\u2014is ongoing.<\/p>\n<p>The 10K early morning race up at the scenic north of Saipan is set for Saturday, June 1, at 6am.<\/p>\n<p>Check in time is from 5am to 5:45am, with a race brief at 5:50am.<\/p>\n<p>The course will start at the Grotto in an out and back semi-flat course. Water stations will be provided at the start point, Bird Island Lookout, and the turnaround point, just past Kalabera Cave.<\/p>\n<p>There are special discounts for Run Saipan members. Check with your Run Saipan group for the promo code.<\/p>\n<p>Age divisions from the open to 65 and older will be awarded.<\/p>\n<p>To register, click the link https:\/\/raceroster.com\/events\/2024\/83515\/grotto-10k-24.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this month, the AP Group LLC. donated $500 to Run Saipan and is the sponsor for the event. The company encompasses Dream Play, AP Energy, Tapped Out, AP Solutions, Napu Brewing Co., and NF-Express.<\/p>\n<p>Run Saipan president Edward Dela Cruz said of their sponsorship, \u201cA large thank you to AP Group and its companies for sponsoring this year\u2019s Grotto shirts. It\u2019s really great and a relief we finally have a sponsor for the 10K. We\u2019re trying to get a sponsor for each of our signature races that can cover our operations cost and this was a huge save thanks to them.
