The NMC students placed in the Top 10 percentile among 6,658 participants from around the world.<\/p>\n<p>The Capsim 2.0 program is a business simulation designed to provide students with hands-on experience in corporate decision-making, problem-solving, financial management, and other essential business skills.<\/p>\n<p>A team of four NMC students, comprising Edilberto Javier III, Marineth Cardinio, Halia Taisacan, and Mary \u201cAhby\u201d Fronda, achieved a Top 10 percentile ranking among 6,879 teams worldwide. This performance included competing against teams from prestigious universities such as Purdue, SUNY Polytechnical, University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and California State University-East Bay.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor graduating bachelor seniors at the School of Business, the integration of Capstone 2.0 from Capsim Management Simulations into the MG440 curriculum marks a pivotal advancement in experiential learning. This innovative simulation, now in its second semester, puts students at the helm of strategic decision-making within a business context that prioritizes sustainability-a critical aspect of modern entrepreneurship and management,\u201d said NMC School of Business interim director Dr. Barbara C. Hunter.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTheir success underscores the effectiveness of Capstone 2.0 in honing students\u2019 business acumen and decision-making prowess. This innovative simulation equips students with the tools they need to succeed in today\u2019s dynamic and sustainable business landscape,\u201d said Will Curnutt, manager of Client Relationship Services, Capsim Management Simulations.<\/p>\n<p>The NMC School of Business has been utilizing the Capsim Simulation since 2015 to provide students with a real-world, hands-on learning experience.
