My weekly golfing buddies (Dudus Ladies) encouraged me to return. I left the association 10 years ago when I took on a full-time position,” said Seman.

She added that the weather last Saturday was nice but very hot, but the dry course helped her game by adding extra yardage to her shots.

As to who she’s dedicating her May victory to, Seman said it would have to go to Chai Omar Castro.

“Prior to this tournament, I told Chai Omar Castro who celebrated her birthday the same day that I would dedicate every bogey to her. That was my game plan, trying to bogey every hole,” she said.

On a more serious note, Seman said it’s been a while since she broken through a gross 100, which made her gross 99 last Saturday very memorable.

“What was more exciting for me that day was breaking 100s, achieving my goal. It had been quite a while since I scored below that after I started playing regularly again this year.”

Sunny Hyun finished second in the monthly CWGA ace with her net 71 followed by third place See Hee Kim’s net 74. Lorraine Babauta (net 78), Terry Guerrero (net 80), and Lou Kim (net 83) completed the participants of the May tourney.

The club continues to look for new members as the new season continues.
