She is considered as the mother of Philippine women\u2019s literature serving as \u201cbridge from oral to literary tradition and as a pioneer in Philippine lesbian literature.\u201d<strong>\u2014Wikipedia.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><h4>BLASTED HOPES<\/h4>\n<\/p>\n<p>What gladness and what joy are endowed to one who is loved for truly there is one to share all his sufferings and<\/p>\n<p>his pain.
