The Department of Public Safety until now has no significant leads on the killing of a Chinese couple in As Gonno in February that also saw the couple\u2019s house deliberately burned down, with their bodies inside.<\/p>\n
In an interview with reporters, DPS Commissioner James Deleon Guerrero said the department has been working in close coordination with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives in investigating the As Gonno double homicide case.<\/p>\n
Deleon Guerrero said beyond ATF\u2019s involvement in the investigation they don\u2019t have good leads in the case.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are still appealing to the members of the community who may know something to give information,\u201d the commissioner said.<\/p>\n
The bodies of Qing Xiu Zheng and her husband, Guo Huang Xu, were found charred inside their house last Feb. 23.<\/p>\n
The family of one of the victims is offering a $5,000 cash reward to anyone who can provide information leading to the arrest of the person or persons behind the killing. <\/p>\n
Police have classified the death of the victims as a double homicide. <\/p>\n
