It’s a small taste of two companies that are currently not on Saipan, and at a reasonable price, with your sugary 12-inch churro at $3 and its pretzel twin at $4.

When speaking to sandwich artist and shop supervisor Damian Lastimado, he shared that since the introduction of the Footlong Sidekicks in May, the dough boys were already a hit, especially with students who frequently stop by for an after-school snack.

“They’re all bestsellers. But especially the churros, kids love it. And since we’re near the school, after school kids come here to buy.”

He shared that the chewy delectables are baked upon order and when dining in, customers can also request the sidekicks to be baked and served after their meal so they can enjoy the textures that only come straight from the oven.

Lastimado shared that he also enjoys the doughy treats, noting that his personal favorite—not meaning his favorite people Demi Adelaine, and Jeralyn—but among the footlong Sidekicks.

“My No. 1 favorite here at Subway is the pretzel. I don’t know, I really love it. Especially when you eat it with honey mustard.”

He said that with the successful release of the sidekicks, Subway Saipan was also looking forward to serving the TikTok famous, and third Subway Footlong Sidekick, the footlong cookie. He shared that currently they don’t have the footlong cookie but they are estimating to be making it available sometime next month.

Whether you’re craving doughy goodness, or looking to indulge in some delicious carbs on cheat day, the Subway Saipan is inviting you to come and try their new Footlong Sidekicks.

Subway Saipan sandwich artist and shop supervisor Damian Lastimado serves with a smile Footlong Sidekicks with a Subway Series Footlong at Subway’s Chalan Piao branch last Saturday.

-CRYSTAL MARINO

Finish off your Subway sandwich with Subway’s Footlong Sidekicks.

-CRYSTAL MARINO

A close up of Subway’s new Footlong Sidekicks Churro from Cinnabon.

-CRYSTAL MARINO

Subway’s Footlong Sidekicks pretzel is chewy and buttery and sprinkled with sesame seeds.

-CRYSTAL MARINO

Subway’s Sidekicks are a great shareable treat after a Subway sandwich.

-CRYSTAL MARINO

[4

post-410638","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-local-news
["GET
