Since the start of 2024, the Guam Chess Federation has successfully organized weekend tournaments at the Micronesia Mall, drawing enthusiastic players of all ages and skill levels. For the month of July, tournaments are scheduled every Sunday, alternating between the Center Court and other event spaces.<\/p>\n<p>Almer Santos, president of the Guam Chess Federation, emphasizes the inclusive nature of the tournaments, as chess is a game that brings together people of all ages and backgrounds. The Guam Chess Federation aims to foster a love for the game and promote its numerous cognitive and social benefits.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe encourage everyone, from beginners to seasoned players of all ages, to join us this Sunday,\u201d Santos added.<\/p>\n<p>The Guam Chess Federation is committed to promoting chess as a beneficial activity for both mental acuity and social interaction.
