Up to $7,300 is available in federal aid for the 2024-2025 Academic Year.<\/p>\n<p>The workshops will assist participants in completing the 2024-25 FAFSA form before the Fall 2024 semester. Individuals who complete a FAFSA may be able to access up to $7,395 in federal financial aid for NMC\u2019s upcoming academic year. The workshops are open to students on Saipan, Tinian, and Rota.<\/p>\n<p>To ensure completion, students and parents must create their Federal Student Aid (FSA) IDs (FAFSA accounts) three days prior to the workshop to complete the verification process. To create an FSA ID, visit www.studentaid.gov and click \u201cCreate Account.\u201d This will require personal information, the creation of a username and password, security questions, and contact information verification. Students and parents must have a separate FSA ID and are encouraged to keep their information safe as the NMC Financial Aid Office does not have access to account recovery.<\/p>\n<p>Seats are limited per day and attendees are encouraged to bring a laptop if they have one. However, laptops and other devices will be made available to facilitate the application process. Incentives will be given out to those who successfully complete their FAFSA forms. Students, parents, and others who plan to attend the workshop must register here: <a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/4eUJRqn\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/bit.ly\/4eUJRqn<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The free FAFSA workshops on Saipan will be held at NMC\u2019s Olympio T. Borja Memorial Library with a session for students from 9am to 1pm and a session for parents from 2pm to 6pm on the following dates:<\/p>\n<p>Friday, July 19<\/p>\n<p>Saturday, July 27<\/p>\n<p>Thursday, Aug. 1<\/p>\n<p>Friday, Aug. 2<\/p>\n<p>Saturday, Aug. 3<\/p>\n<p>Saturday, Aug. 10<\/p>\n<p>Tinian\u2019s FAFSA workshop will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 13, from 9am to 6pm for both students and parents at the Tinian NMC Campus.<\/p>\n<p>Rota\u2019s FAFSA workshop will be held on Tuesday, August 6th from 9am to 6pm for both students and parents at the Rota NMC Campus.<\/p>\n<p>Participants are encouraged to bring documents such as valid identification (passport or birth certificate), copies of their high school diploma, copies of official transcripts, and tax return information for the year 2022 to complete their application.<\/p>\n<p>For more information, contact the NMC Financial Aid Office through email at <a href=\"http:\/\/fao@marianas.edu\" target=\"_blank\">fao@marianas.edu<\/a> or call (670) 237-6790.
