A Hotdog Returns\/Dyspeptic Heartburn (2013)<\/h4>\n<\/p>\n

They sold me right after I cooked because my smell<\/p>\n

to them seemed piquant and delicious in the air<\/p>\n

that aroma slowly wafting everywhere<\/p>\n

with its warm succulent fragrance casting a spell<\/p>\n

all around until no nose would have a nostril<\/p>\n

that had not had its nasal passages stirred.<\/p>\n

Then its neural receptors in the gray matter<\/p>\n

sent everyone a most mouthwatering message<\/p>\n

from me. Pile those hotdogs high on the platter.<\/p>\n

But this boiled world is not my only visage.<\/p>\n

Indeed one might say this frankfurter sometimes frys<\/p>\n

I should acknowledge my Viennese heritage<\/p>\n

and love for my Italian and Polish sausage allies.<\/p>\n

Perhaps, once, with sweet relish, I dreamed of mustard.<\/p>\n

You ain\u2019t nothing but a hotdog and a bun<\/p>\n

chowin down, just a going down my throat<\/p>\n

you ain\u2019t nothing but three big chili dogs<\/p>\n

guarantee gonna make my stomach bloat<\/p>\n

some say you\u2019re a high-class Viennese sausage cat<\/p>\n

a plump Polish sausage cousin or some spicy hot Italian<\/p>\n

but you\u2019re a Texas hot a skinny weiner dog or fat<\/p>\n

on top I want mustard, chopped onions or scallions<\/p>\n

gotta have you any way boiled, steamed, or fried<\/p>\n

gotta have at least two or three of you going inside<\/p>\n

gotta have you at the ballpark, BBQ, or nearest beach<\/p>\n

just gotta have you and your soft buns in my reach<\/p>\n

you ain\u2019t nothing but a hotdog with yellow mustard<\/p>\n

finish you off with some soft vanilla custard.<\/p>\n
