This one-year, intensive, specialized leadership training program further develops the participants\u2019 knowledge and skills as executives and how to strengthen one\u2019s career path to provide high quality services through strategic planning, thinking, and problem-solving within their governments.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_41202\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-41202\" style=\"width: 150px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a attid=\"41202\"  href=\"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/Alfreda-Camacho-mug.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/Alfreda-Camacho-mug-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"Alfreda Camacho\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-41202\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-41202\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Alfreda Camacho<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Alfreda Camacho of the CNMI is one of the 23 selected participants that will make up the 4th Executive Leadership Development Program. <\/p>\n<p>A graduate with honors from Grace Christian Academy, Camacho completed and attained her business degrees in the areas of Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources and Business Management from Portland State University in Portland, Oregon. She is currently selected as part of the inaugural Pacific Century Fellows-Marianas Chapter Class of 2014. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI believe that it is important for me to develop a career in public service because I want to make a difference for a better CNMI. My goal is to be able to have a direct and positive impact on the lives of others through transparent leadership for the common good of every person living in the CNMI. This program will allow me to focus my efforts on tackling important issues and implementing solutions that improve the quality of life for the community that I serve. My hope is to contribute to the bigger cause of helping shape the future of the CNMI that will positively benefit our generations to come,\u201d said Camacho.<\/p>\n<p>In his congratulatory letter to Camacho, Nikolao I. Pula, director for the Department of the Interior\u2019s Office of Insular Affairs stated: \u201cThe Executive Leadership Development Program applicants undergo a rigorous and competitive selection process.  You and your fellow participants represent the best and brightest among the insular government professionals, and we welcome you to this fourth year of ELDP.  The government projects and other assignments you bring with you represent a \u2018hands-on\u2019 approach to learning, and we look forward to the results of your efforts.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Camacho said: \u201c I fully commit myself to completing this worthwhile leadership training program as I believe at the end of the day, the rewards of what I will embrace through the ELDP will benefit not just myself but my home, the CNMI. I still have so much more to give back.
