{"id":41210,"date":"2014-07-11T04:00:47","date_gmt":"2014-07-10T18:00:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=41210"},"modified":"2014-07-11T04:00:47","modified_gmt":"2014-07-10T18:00:47","slug":"wanted-fugitive-roland-muna-falls","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/wanted-fugitive-roland-muna-falls\/","title":{"rendered":"Wanted fugitive Roland Mu\u00f1a falls"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Police arrested yesterday Roland Hernandez Mu\u00f1a, a 25-year-old man hunted for allegedly eluding police officers who were about to serve him with an arrest warrant in connection with the burglary at Pretty Tours Car Rental in Garapan. <\/p>\n<p>Department of Public Safety spokesman Travis Hurst said detectives captured Mu\u00f1a in the afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>Hurst did not give other details about Muna\u2019s arrest but thanked the media for assisting DPS in disseminating the information about the suspect.<\/p>\n<p>On Monday, NMI Crime Stoppers Program coordinator Jason Tarkong issued a statement seeking the public\u2019s help to find Mu\u00f1a.<\/p>\n<p>Tarkong disclosed that on July 1, 2014, Pretty Tours Car Rental was burglarized and items were stolen, including an FJ Cruiser.<\/p>\n<p>Tarkong said police investigation led to the identification of several suspects, including Mu\u00f1a.<\/p>\n<p>On July 4, Superior Court Associate Judge Teresa Kim-Tenorio signed an arrest warrant for Mu\u00f1a on charges of burglary, theft, and theft of vehicle. Kim-Tenorio imposed a $50,000 cash bail.<\/p>\n<p>Police officers managed to contact Mu\u00f1a on July 5 to serve the arrest warrant.
