Cabrera, Josefina C. Camacho, Leilani M. Catungal, Rowena V. Coloma, Mary Grace I. Cruz, Ana Lisa F. Delos Reyes, Elenita P. Duarte, Elena M. Enriquez, Gemma M. Eugenio, Racquel H. Floyd, Donata U. Fronda, Leilanie A. Garcia, Roxanne R. Layugan, Malaya C. Magno, Irene L. Marquez, Marilou P. Masilungan, Mildred P. Pabilando, Adela B. Sanchez, Edilwisa S. Viana and Roxanne R. Layugan.<\/p>\n<p>The Marianas Lady Eagles Club was faced with several challenges during its initial year, including obtaining funding, according to MLEC president Mildred Pabilabdo.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMany of our members are overseas Filipino workers, making it difficult to coordinate due to individual commitments related to family, work, and other important responsibilities. Like any new organization, we encountered various trials, but our strong bond as sisters kept us united. We built this club with a deep appreciation for one another, creating not only a supportive community but also a name we proudly represent. Despite the hurdles, we demonstrated our resilience during our first anniversary, showcasing the strength of our camaraderie,\u201d said Pabilando.<\/p>\n<p>She said despite the challenges, they have successfully launched several initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe organized community outreach programs, held local tournaments, and established partnerships with local businesses to promote sports among young women and men, including a summer billiards camp under the Pacific Amusement and Saipan Billiard Association.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Pabilando added that the community service they have initiated include assisting the Department of Youth Services with programs like Brain Builder and report child abuse and neglect, a gift-giving event for two schools\u2014 Loving Hands Day Care and Golden Harvest International Day Care, hosting a Zumba Marathon Extravaganza, collaborating with nine Zumba instructors to promote health and wellness that featured free health screenings for blood sugar and blood pressure with Ernie Molina of CHCC, and beach cleanups.<\/p>\n<p>The masquerade-themed event was opened with the acknowledgements from MEC club president Edwin Elayda, MLEC president Mildred Pabilando, and Saipan-Guam Eagles district governor Marcelo Masilungan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe should continue to develop a deep sense of brotherhood and sisterhood with respect for one another,\u201d said Masilungan.<\/p>\n<p>A video message from the TFOE (PE) est. 1979 National president Jeffrey Maravilla was played during the event.<\/p>\n<p>The chartered Marianas Eagles Club and the Marianas Lady Eagles Club are composed of members from different walks of life, an epitome of the \u201cNo High, No Low\u201d organization with the motto of \u201cService Through Strong Brotherhood.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Marianas Eagles Club and Marianas Lady Eagles Club were chartered on June 25, 2023.<\/p>\n<p> <figure style=\"width: 480px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/images\/imgupload\/a3f8a20148846b82b7defbf8ad56cc34.jpg\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\"><\/p>\n<p>Marianas Eagles and Marianas Lady Eagles clubs held a masquerade-themed event to celebrate their first anniversary last Aug. 25 at Crowne Plaza Resort Saipan.<\/p>\n<p>-CONTRIBUTED PHOTO<br \/><\/figcaption><\/figure> <figure style=\"width: 480px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/images\/imgupload\/c6a11f78146ba7396e158c98a14854ca.jpg\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\"><\/p>\n<p>Twenty Lady Eagles\u2014Norlyn P.
