{"id":413451,"date":"2024-09-24T14:00:00","date_gmt":"2024-09-24T14:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=413451"},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-29T14:00:00","slug":"Back-to-school-haircut-on-Rota-a-success","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/Back-to-school-haircut-on-Rota-a-success\/","title":{"rendered":"Back-to-school haircut on Rota a success"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>ROTA\u2014<\/strong>The Office of Representative Julie Ogo, in collaboration with the Saipan Maga\u2019haga Lady Eagles Club and their president Maria Aileen, the Rota Mayor\u2019s Office, Mayor Aubrey Hocog, and the 19th Rota Municipal Council, is proud to announce the resounding success of this year\u2019s Annual Back-to-School Haircut Free Service Event.<\/p>\n<p>The event, which provides free haircuts to children preparing for the new school year, surpassed last year\u2019s number of participants, marking an outstanding achievement in community service.<\/p>\n<p>With the addition of a new hairstylist this year, we were also able to extend services to a few senior citizens, making the event more inclusive and reflective of our commitment to all members of the community.<\/p>\n<p>Ogo expressed her gratitude to everyone who made this year\u2019s event a success and shared plans to expand this outreach program in the future. \u201cIt\u2019s our goal to extend this service to the elderly and disabled residents of Rota, ensuring that everyone in our community feels supported and cared for,\u201d said Ogo.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s event wouldn\u2019t have been possible without the dedication of the following hairstylists, who generously took time from their schedules to lend their talents:<\/p>\n<p>Noel Casquero \u201cSharmaine\u201d \u2013 Mommyla Beauty Salon, Saipan<\/p>\n<p>Remyl Raymundo \u201cJana\u201d\u2013Creative Salon, Saipan<\/p>\n<p>Rowin Regonas \u2013 Creative Salon, Saipan<\/p>\n<p>Arnel Paquio \u2013 OB Beauty Salon, Rota<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, Ogo would like to express her sincere appreciation to the following government and private sector entities for their support and services:<\/p>\n<p>Coral Garden Hotel<\/p>\n<p>FunFlatables<\/p>\n<p>Rota Department of Fire and Emergency Medical Services<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe success of this year\u2019s event reflects the power of community collaboration and shared values.
