It is the one organization that nurtures and educates CNMI\u2019s youth the importance of tourism and hospitality to the CNMI,\u201d said Island Training Solutions owner Jim Arenovski. \u201cMarianas Tourism Education Council helps provide our children strong foundational skills that can transfer to any field in any location around the world.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Tournament proceeds will fund the education work of the non-profit organization Marianas Tourism Education Council and school tourism MY WAVE (Marianas Youth Welcome All Visitors Enthusiastically) Clubs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Marianas Tourism Cup Golf Classic is the only tournament that focuses on the role of tourism in the community,\u201d said MTEC chair Vicky Benavente. \u201cWe are thankful for the support of Island Training Solutions, and our sponsors, all of whom are stakeholders in the islands\u2019 number one industry.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Registration forms and sponsorship details are now available on The Marianas Calendar at www.mymarianas.com. The tournament format is low gross. Flight categories are Championship (0-5), A Flight (6-10), B Flight (11-16), C Flight (17+), Ladies, Senior (ages 55+).<\/p>\n<p>Registration is $120. Optional play is $20. Only 144 players will be registered. No refunds will be issued after Sept. 30, 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Registration payment is being accepted at LaoLao Bay Golf &amp; Resort (credit card or cash only) and the Marianas Visitors Authority office (cash or check only) at 3366 Beach Rd., Suite 101, I Liyan, Saipan. Checks should be made payable to Marianas Tourism Education Council.<\/p>\n<p>Showtime on game day is 6am, with a shotgun start at 7am. The awards luncheon will immediately follow the tournament.
