Mondala with 41 criminal charges.<\/p>\n<p>OPA legal counsel George L. Hasselback charged Mondala with 22 counts of forgery; six counts of misconduct in public office; eight counts of use of public supplies, time, and personnel for campaign activities; two counts of use of public position to obtain benefits for business or social acquaintances; one count of theft of services; one count of theft; and one count of use of office, staff, or employees of a public office for personal benefit.<\/p>\n<p>The 69-year-old Mondala, through her lawyer, is expected to enter a not guilty plea at her arraignment on Monday, July 21, at 9am.<\/p>\n<p>The original arraignment date of July 7, 2014, was reset to July 14 and continued again to July 21 for various reasons.<\/p>\n<p>OPA accused Mondala of using the Aging Office\u2019s funds and materials for the needs of the Covenant Party during the 2009 elections and to build a fence at her house in Kagman.<\/p>\n<p>Associate Judge Kenneth L. Govendo released Mondala on a $7,500 unsecured or appearance bond during the defendant\u2019s initial appearance last June 27.<\/p>\n<p>OPA investigator Juanette F.
