Latte Football Club and Shirley\u2019s FC 1 triumphed in their respective divisions in the 2024 Fall Dove Women\u2019s League at the NMI Soccer Training Center in Koblerville last Sunday.<\/p>\n

Latte, in the A Division, defeated MP United Blue, 3-1.<\/p>\n

Possession swung back and forth on the pitch like a pendulum and went on for 20 minutes in the first half. Both teams tried to get the better of the other with no luck until Latte\u2019s Khristelle Itaas found the back of the net in the 21st minute.<\/p>\n

Action went on full swing once again after that as Latte tried to uphold their slim lead. They then doubled it and got some breathing room after a goal by Tyana Hix in the 46th minute. However, MP United\u2019s Cassandra Camacho found an opening in the 49th to get on board and cut the lead in half, 1-2.<\/p>\n

Latte then dug their cleats in and got down to business despite the lead and added another goal in the 63rd by Itaas for a 3-1 game. MP United could not catch up as time ran out and handed the W to Latte.<\/p>\n

For Matansa, they overpowered MP United, 6-1, in the Marianas Soccer League 1.<\/p>\n

MP United actually got first dibs at the net with a goal by Isiah Hossain in the 19th minute, but Matansa didn\u2019t let that affect them and went on an offensive onslaught later.<\/p>\n

Sunjoon Tenorio tied the game up in the 28th, followed by another goal just four minutes later by Ariel Narvaez Jr. to make it 2-1. The first half came and went quietly after that, then Matansa picked up the pace in the second.<\/p>\n

Narvaez, Tanapon Unsa, Monico Claridades, and Mareko Tekopua then went on to score one goal each for the 6-1 final.<\/p>\n

In the Dove B Division, Shirley\u2019s FC 1 knocked out Paire, 8-1. results of the B Division, Shirley\u2019s FC 2 won over MP United Pink, 4-1; Kanoa FC beat MP United Blue, 5-1; and in the Masters Division, Paire took down Latte, 2-0; Kanoa blanked Shirley\u2019s, 3-0.<\/p>\n

As for results in MSL 2, Kanoa and Bangladesh FC ended in a 2-2 draw; Paire won over Matansa, 1-0; and Paire defeated MP United, 2-0.<\/p>\n
