{"id":41593,"date":"2014-07-16T04:00:04","date_gmt":"2014-07-15T18:00:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=41593"},"modified":"2014-07-16T04:00:04","modified_gmt":"2014-07-15T18:00:04","slug":"chc-following-cuc-payments-fletcher","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/chc-following-cuc-payments-fletcher\/","title":{"rendered":"CHC following through on CUC payments\u2014Fletcher"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Not including past arrears, the Commonwealth Healthcare Corp. has so far been current in its payments with the Commonwealth Utilities Corp., according to CUC\u2019s executive director Alan Fletcher.<\/p>\n<p>Fletcher told Saipan Tribune that CHCC did make payments, following a court order in May for CHCC to make monthly payments to CUC equivalent to its monthly usage.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCUC did make payments in June for May usage,\u201d Fletcher said.<\/p>\n<p>According to Fletcher, about $484,000 was paid and another was made for April, totaling $411,569.<\/p>\n<p>He said the payments were only for the principal amounts and did not include late charges.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis matter is in litigation, and monthly payments equal to current usage have been ordered by the court,\u201d Fletcher said.<\/p>\n<p>In May this year, Superior Court Associate Judge David A.
