The Marianas March Against Cancer is the largest annual cancer fundraising event in the Northern Mariana Islands. It is the signature fundraising activity of the Commonwealth Cancer Association, a volunteer-led non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that ensures all funds raised are spent in the CNMI. Proceeds raised at the MMAC are spent on cancer awareness programs, cancer patient assistance and other cancer-related services.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have 12 confirmed teams who are currently selling luminaries and raffle tickets. Purchase a luminary in honor of a loved one who has won the fight against cancer or is currently undergoing cancer treatment. Or you may purchase a luminary in memory of a loved one who has lost the fight against this deadly affliction. Each luminary will be placed inside a white bag and lit throughout the twelve hour event.
