Ada Gymnasium.

The rivalry between the CNMI’s only two network providers was heated from the get-go as a sea of blue IT&E supporters and a sea of red Docomo supporters cheered on their favored teams loudly with each point scored. But, despite Docomo losing the battle early on, Docomo’s bleachers were still as loud as ever.

As the game went on though, IT&E’s bleachers became as deafening as the commanding lead that IT&E held over Docomo throughout the game.

IT&E’s better ball-handling and seamless chemistry held the team together and allowed them to dominate the court. Daniel Madreo, Jhon Ryan Singca, and Ervin Villarin were a terrifying triad that even Docomo’s most skilled players could not handle.

Shane Deleon Guerrero was a one-man shooting machine who could not soften the blow of Docomo’s downfall as he could only do so much to carry his team. Anthony Diaz assisted with some baskets, but the speedier and more light on their feet IT&E team quickly assembled it to become a lopsided game.

After the first half, IT&E enjoyed a 53-32 lead. The gap only widened from there as Docomo players gassed out and could not keep up with IT&E’s faster pace.

In the end, Madreo had a game-high 37 markers, while Singca put up 24 points, and Villarin scored 18. Meanwhile, Deleon Guerrero led Docomo with 34 points, while Diaz contributed 15.

With this win, IT&E is undefeated with three victories, while Docomo have yet to win a game.

In the other game that night, CPA left Priority Care lifeless, 78-64.

Last Tuesday, DFEMS lit up CUC, 48-43, and CHCC stopped Docomo, 73-62.

IT&E 104 – Madreo 37, J.
