White then solidified her tirade on the pitch with a hat-trick in the 13th minute before Shirley’s could even catch their breath.

Shirley’s tried to get something going and notch a goal on the scoreboard, but Kanoa not only overpowered them offensively, but also defensively. In the 25th minute, Beatrice Gross put them up, 4-0, then shot two more goals for a hat-trick by the 35th minute.

By that time, they were up, 6-0, then Hayven Motesiou scored their last goal just a couple minutes later. 7-0 became the eventual final score as Shirley’s failed to produce.

Meanwhile, Kanoa’s U17 boys team slipped past Matansa, 2-1. Just six minutes later though, MPU shot an equalizer for a 1-1 game.

Both teams got on board again for a still knotted up game, 2-2 in the 38th minute, until finally, KFC 1’s Arstin Tagabuel knocked in the eventual winning goal in the 49th minute.

Then, Kanoa’s U14 girls team blanked MP United, 2-0.

In other results, the Women’s Development Team blanked MPU U17 boys, 12-0; and MPU U17 girls team doubled Paire, 4-2.

In the U14 girls division, Paire and Shirley’s were at a 3-3 draw; and in the U14 boys, Latte got the better of Matansa, 2-1, and KFC 2 ended in a scoreless draw against Shirley’s.

And in the younger divisions, U12 boys of Latte ended in a stalemate, 2-2 with Paire; Matansa won over Shirley’s, 3-1; and KFC 1 locked 1-1 with MPU.

A Kanoa player slides for the ball during their game against MP United in the TakeCare Youth Soccer League Fall 2024 at the NMI Soccer Training Center in Koblerville last Saturday.

-NMIFA

A Kanoa player, left, chases down a ball alongside a MP United player during their game in the TakeCare Youth Soccer League Fall 2024 at the NMI Soccer Training Center in Koblerville last Saturday.

-NMIFA

[5

post-424484","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-sports
["GET
