Season 26 of The Voice<\/em><\/a> has been one of the most emotionally charged in recent memory, and that continued on Tuesday\u2019s (November 26) episode when Sloane Simon took to the stage just days after her dad died.<\/p>\n

After Reba McEntire<\/a> and Snoop Dogg<\/a> were brought to tears by contestant Jeremy Beloate<\/a> on Monday night (November 25), Simon had the whole panel welling up when she revealed her father had died in the days leading up to her performance.<\/p>\n

During the rehearsal, Simon opened up about how her dad was fighting cancer. Her coach, Michael Bubl\u00e9<\/a>, began to tear up as he remembered going through something similar when his son, Noah (11), was diagnosed with liver cancer in 2016. Noah is now in remission.<\/p>\n

\u201cI went through my own personal thing when my son got sick, and I couldn\u2019t get through it,\u201d Bubl\u00e9 told Simon. \u201cI just couldn\u2019t, and that\u2019s okay. Like you said, [we\u2019re] human beings. It\u2019s a show, and it\u2019s not as big as you, as important as you and your trajectory and your journey; this is just a part of it.\u201d<\/p>\n
