Wazzup scored seven runs wrapped up by a grand slam off the bat of Nate Sablan to lead, 9-2.

But Homies weren’t going down without a fight. They bombarded Wazzup’s pitcher with back-to-back hits plus a three-run homer by To Norita, and an additional grand slam by Heath Camacho to overtake Wazzup, 10-9.

The Homies went on to round the bases three more times in the fourth, while Wazzup could only score one in the fifth to make it a 13-10 game.

Homies tacked on more insurance runs in the fifth off Ian Norita and To Norita’s solo shot, plus a three-run jack by Boss Camacho for an 18-run advantage. Goodbyes were then said to Wazzup as they could only score four more runs in their last at-bat for an 18-16 final.

Homies only had one loss the whole season and boasted a 14-1 record.

No. 2 seed Just4Fun banished the Blue Jays, 26-15.

It was a slugfest for Just4Fun as they took fun to the next level. They scored in every inning throughout the game and it was a home run derby of sorts from the amount of home runs hit.

Eleven moon shots were hit off the bats of Just4Fun including one grand slam from P.J. Masaharu, three three-run homers, with the rest being solo shots. Meanwhile, the Blue Jays tried for a comeback in the last inning to no avail as Just4Fun already solidified their lead by the second inning.

Just4Fun and Brotherhad had the next best records of 13-2 each.

No. 3 seed Brotherhood then teamed up against No. 6 Parre’ Pack, 25-9.

This was another slugfest that featured multiple home runs as well. Brotherhood dominated the diamond from the get-go and had a solid 13-4 lead at the end of the second inning.

They went on to score eight more in the third, five in the fourth, and three in the fifth. Meanwhile, Parre’ Pack struggled at the plate and only conjured up six more runs for a 25-9 final.

And No. 5 seed The Kliq ousted Team Yayaya, 22-6.

Majority of The Kliq’s runs came in the last two innings of the game as they were neck-and-neck with Yayaya in the first three innings, 8-6.
