Monroyo)\n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n<br \/>\nCNMI teams left one after another to represent the Commonwealth to regional competitions.<\/p>\n<p>Swimming\u2019s Victoria Chentsova, Christian Villacrusis, Kento Akimaru, Takumi Sugie and coach Jacoby Winkfield were the first ones to leave early Monday morning last week to participate in the 8th Micronesian Games in Pohnpei.<\/p>\n<p>Next to pack their bags were the CNMI\u2019s men\u2019s and women\u2019s football teams, which left for Guam to compete in the Preliminary Round 1 of the 2015 EAFF East Asian Cup. The men\u2019s team has 18 players in Johann Noetzel, Jonathan Takano, Ethan Dickinson, Trey Dunn, Joe Miler, John Taisacan, Jonathan Takano, Jireh Yobech, Joel Fruit, Daniel Agulto, Sean Perez, Ruselle Zapanta, Jehn Joyner, Kennedy Izuka, Nick Swaim, Lucas Knecht, Bo Barry, Kirk Schuler, and Dae Won Jeon. Kiyoshi Sekiguchi is the team\u2019s head coach, while Taketomo Suzuki and goalkeeper coach Hon Kit Cheng are assisting him. Completing the squad are team manager Joon Seoung Lee and physiotherapist Jungsang Park.<\/p>\n<p>The Commonwealth\u2019s women\u2019s team also has 18 players in Jhaneeka Atalig, Elaine Enriquez, Emily Maxberry, Michelle Masga, Carrie Schuler, Mikky Vargas, Marielle Gariguez, Jeraldine and Jeralyn Castillo, Megan Silberberger, Melody Johnson, Alexa Vergara, Diane Pablo, Thea Minor, Elizabeth Phan, Gabrielle Race, Krizelle Mae Tuazon, and Chevy Kate Alipio. Luam Khen Koo is the head coach with Wai Wo Lee assisting him, while Chi Ming Tang is the goalkeeper coach. Mae Angeline Ito and Pam Carhill are the team manager and physiotherapist, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Also leaving last week were the CNMI\u2019s baseball, basketball, and athletics teams and they went to Pohnpei for the Micro Games. Joshua Jones, Jeremy Rabauliman, Manny Sablan, Byron Kaipat, Tyrone Omar, Vince Cepeda, Ben Jones Jr, Jerome Delos Santos, Roy Celis, Ian Rogolifoi, Brian Camacho, Rocco Reyes, Jared Sablan, Diego Camacho, Jun Rabauliman, Peter Lieto, Joe Palacios, Jr., Greg Iskawa, Anthony Benavente, Tom Camacho, Patrick Alepuyo, and Chris Camacho made up the baseball team, which has Tony Rogolifoi as manager and Mel Sakisat as coach.<\/p>\n<p>Men\u2019s basketball has Preston Basa, Dan Barcinas Christian Mizer, Jason Lampkin, Bryle Alegre, Jimmy Tudela, Ezra Caro Leowell Cristobal, Jack Lizama, Marvin Rabauliman, Jawn Joyner, and Fred Litulumar as players and Elias Rangamar as coach. Rangamar also coaches the women\u2019s squad, which is composed of Connie Camacho, Teresita Sablan, Lia Rangamar, Irish Pagarao, Ira Palero, Lilly Williams, Jamie Mendoza, Rachel Abrams, Madeleine Alegre, Marie Javier, Antonette Labausa, and Michelle Kautz.<\/p>\n<p>Abrams, Lia Rangamar, and Lampkin are also members of the athletics teams and are joined by Denise Samson, Friendly Joy Pena, Zarinae Sapong, Beo Ngirchongor, Brandon Phillip, Dylan Ackerman, Seiya Eda, Michael Mancao, Doris Rangamar,  Sylvan Rangamar, Ronald Olopai, Antonio Ichiou, Jesse James, Dan Joab, and Jaynard White.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, two basketball leagues kicked off on Saipan. The Emon Lodge masters caging started last Monday with seven teams entered in the 40-and-above contest. The list includes Mariana Resort, PIC Chefs, Blue Haus, Hawaiian Rock,  Armatech, D&amp;Q Degree, and Armatech.<\/p>\n<p>In the revived Budweiser Inter-Hotel caging, which opened shop last Tuesday, there are also seven squads in Pacific Islands Club, World Resort, Kanoa Resort, Fiesta Resort &amp; Spa Saipan, Mariana Resort, Hyatt Regency Saipan, and Century Hotel\/Shirley\u2019s Coffee Shop.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CNMI teams left one after another to represent the Commonwealth to regional competitions.
