Or when the boy of <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/show\/boy-meets-world\/\">Boy Meets World<\/a><\/em> grows up to be an adult man who\u2019s walking down aisle? These are the curious cases of television shows that outgrow their titles, and TV buffs are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/television\/comments\/1h3bmmb\/tv_show_titles_that_made_sense_for_the_first_few\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">citing examples of the phenomenon on Reddit<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/show\/agents-of-s-h-i-e-l-d\/\">Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.<\/a><\/em> was about, well, agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. But then S.H.I.E.L.D. is disbanded, so the characters aren\u2019t actually agents of anything,\u201d user AporiaParadox said, recalling one of the first Marvel TV shows.<\/p>\n<p>User jrm1693, meanwhile, named <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/show\/new-girl\/\">New Girl<\/a><\/em> as an example, explaining that by that sitcom\u2019s second season, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/people\/zooey-deschanel\/\">Zooey Deschanel<\/a>\u2019s character \u201cisn\u2019t really the new girl but an integral part of the friendship group in the loft.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Aardvarkyardwork said <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/show\/the-rookie\/\">The Rookie<\/a><\/em> fits the bill, adding, \u201cCan\u2019t be a rookie for seven seasons.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And Paddijaddi observed that \u201cit doesn\u2019t take long for <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/show\/the-100\/\">The 100<\/a><\/em> to fill that [criterion],\u201d given that show\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/gallery\/the-100-most-shocking-deaths\/\">many deaths<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><div id=\"attachment_676027\" style=\"width: 866px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-676027\" class=\"wp-image-676027 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/6852c6d9f98d6e67b02df050ec71f2b44513c8068a75270bca515673d806800f-856x570.jpg\" alt=\"Veep -
