You know I have checked YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn and Google, the official sources for candidate information for the upcoming 2014 election. Gregorio Kilili Sablan clearly has the best and by far the most information available: over 200 videos on YouTube, a long time FB page and he is on LinkedIn and all over Google. I\u2019m sure his challenger, Andrew Salas, is a nice man but there is no way to tell because he is almost invisible on the Web, just a few mentions from newspaper articles on Google. The CNMI can\u2019t afford to be invisible in Washington. <\/p>\n
Felicidad Ogumoro is as invisible as Mr. Salas and it seems has had only one agenda for many years, and steadfastly sticks to it without any regard for the reality of 2014. Ms. Lumi Bermudes has no Web presence except for a couple newspaper articles but because of her education background she may be interested in reforming PSS. <\/p>\n
I will vote for Ms. Ogumoro and Ms. Bermudes because they will keep two men out of these seats. Many studies have shown that women are less likely to be corrupted than men. They are not incorruptible\u2014just less likely to be. I just hope these two ladies understand the importance of the Internet in the lives of our young. Because they don\u2019t take advantage of this most precious gift, it shouldn\u2019t cloud their judgment when deciding issues pertaining to our young, especially those still in schools around the CNMI. <\/p>\n
That\u2019s it, vote for Kilili, Ogumoro and Bermudes. My opinion, of course.<\/p>\n
