(Contributed Photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cWe are extremely thankful for PIC\u2019s contribution to this year\u2019s Green Gala,\u201d said Frankie Eliptico, chairman of MINA\u2019s board of directors. \u201cPIC has always been a generous contributor to community projects and we are grateful for their longstanding generosity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The leading conservation nonprofit organization in the Commonwealth, MINA has successfully implemented many projects, including the Obyan Rehabilitation Project, the Teacher Environmental Camp, the Marine Debris Prevention program, Tasi Watch Project, and the Adopt-A-Bin Project, which has placed recycling bins at all major beaches on the island. <\/p>\n<p>In order to continue its efforts to preserve and protect the CNMI\u2019s fragile environment and biodiversity, MINA is seeking the community\u2019s participation in the Green Gala. The organization is supported by project grants and from generous contributions from local businesses and community members.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to lively entertainment, dinner and a variety of beverages, the Green Gala will feature brief highlights from MINA\u2019s projects, a silent auction, and many other activities that promises a memorable evening.<\/p>\n<p>Last year\u2019s Green Gala was sold out, so organizers are encouraging those who plan to attend to buy their tickets early. Tickets for the Green Gala event can be purchased at the MINA Office in Gualo Rai or from any of the volunteer board members.<\/p>\n<p>There are four categories of sponsorship (Emerald, Title, Major, and Sponsor categories) that correspond to the value of companies&#8217; contribution.
