Williams yesterday filed charges of theft and misconduct in public office against an immigration officer.<\/p>\n<p>Peter Anthony Maratita, 22, from San Antonio was called to appear in court on Monday to respond to allegation that he took $100 from a certain Yong Kee Kwak.<\/p>\n<p>The alleged theft was said to have taken place on Aug. 7 while Maratita was doing his duty as an inspector for the Department of Labor and Immigration.<\/p>\n<p>Williams did not elaborate on the incident.<\/p>\n<p>In a separate case, a former resident department head at the Department of Commerce on Rota was also ordered to appear in court on Jan. 8, 1999.<\/p>\n<p>Williams filed a two-count information against Glenn H. Manglona, 34, for failure to file a report of financial interest between May 1 and May 31, 1995 and from May 1 to May 31, 1997.<\/p>\n<p>Documents showed that Manglona&#8217;s position required an annual filing of a report of financial interests with the Office of the Public Auditor.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Assistant Attorney General Marvin J.
