{"id":4495,"date":"2012-03-03T00:29:23","date_gmt":"2012-03-03T00:29:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/newspaper.ctsi-logistics.com\/?p=4495"},"modified":"2012-03-03T00:29:23","modified_gmt":"2012-03-03T00:29:23","slug":"tinian-man-gets-6-months-for-ice-possession","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/tinian-man-gets-6-months-for-ice-possession\/","title":{"rendered":"Tinian man gets 6 months for &#8216;ice&#8217; possession"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>By Ferdie de la Torre<br \/>\nReporter<\/div>\n<p>A Tinian resident facing \u201cice\u201d trafficking charges has pleaded guilty to possession of controlled substance and was sentenced to six months in prison.<\/p>\n<p>In a hearing on Tinian last week, Superior Court associate judge Kenneth Govendo accepted Kurt King&#8217;s guilty plea and sentenced him to two years, all suspended except for six months, with credit for the seven days he has already spent in jail.<\/p>\n<p>The 31-year-old King will start serving his sentence on March 15, 2012.<\/p>\n<p>After completing his prison term, King will be placed on probation for two years.
