{"id":45295,"date":"1999-01-26T00:00:00","date_gmt":"1999-01-26T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/9431eb45-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e"},"modified":"1999-01-26T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"1999-01-26T00:00:00","slug":"9431eb55-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/9431eb55-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e\/","title":{"rendered":"Jury selection continues for murder trial"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The jury selection for the murder trial of Gerald Sablan and Peter Cabrera started yesterday in Superior Court where a six-man jury will be selected over a pool of juror summoned by the court.<\/p>\n<p>Superior Court Presiding Judge Edward Manibusan conducted the selection and reminded all prospective juror of the law that requires them to be fair and impartial.<\/p>\n<p>In the following days, Assistant Attorney General Robert Steinborn will present witnesses and evidences to prove the government&#8217;s  case while defense lawyer Antonio Atalig will prove his client&#8217;s innocence.<\/p>\n<p>Sablan and Cabrera were charged with first degree murder, aggravated assault and battery and assault and battery.<\/p>\n<p>They were the main suspects in the killing of 36-year-old Allan N.
