One armed robbery and two pedestrian accidents were reported over the weekend.<\/p>\n
Two men wearing mask surprised the cashier of the Gold Coast 2 (a poker game center) in Garapan last Saturday morning.<\/p>\n
According to the female cashier, both threatened her with a knife, grabbed the victim and covered her face. Her hands were later tied using the telephone cord and was locked inside the rest room.<\/p>\n
The two robbers then walked away with over $3,000 cash from Gold Coast.<\/p>\n
Department of Public Safety spokesperson Rose Ada said police officers are following leads to identify the thieves.<\/p>\n
Two separate auto pedestrian accidents happened at Middle Road involving Chinese nationals who sustained lacerations and contusions.<\/p>\n
Vehicle driver Roy Sauceda was heading north using the outer lane when he heard of a sudden impact. He pulled over near the Trans America hardware and saw Meilan Cei, who suffered extensive leg injuries.<\/p>\n
DPS medical personnel rushed to the site and transported Cei to the Commonwealth Health Center for further treatment.<\/p>\n
Yong Zi Piao sustained head contusion and laceration after he was hit by a pick-up van Sunday evening in Garapan.<\/p>\n
