{"id":47434,"date":"1999-07-26T00:00:00","date_gmt":"1999-07-26T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/94d6394f-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e"},"modified":"1999-07-26T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"1999-07-26T00:00:00","slug":"94d63960-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/94d63960-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e\/","title":{"rendered":"Education summit opens tonight"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Delegates to the 16th Annual Pacific Educational Conference will gather at Diamond Hotel tonight for the summit&#8217;s official opening ceremony which starts at 6:30 PM.<\/p>\n<p>About 500 educators from the mainland and Pacific island states and entities are expected to attend the region&#8217;s biggest educational summit, which will start formal discussions at the Marianas High School tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the three-day conference, which ends on Thursday, the participants will have 100 workshop sessions to choose from.<\/p>\n<p>Pre-conference institutes are scheduled today, from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM, at MHS campus.<\/p>\n<p>Each institute will focus on a particular issue.
