Babauta was convicted for engaging in sex acts with a 16-year-old girl in July 1998.<\/p>\n<p>Superior Court Associate Judge Juan Lizama also fined Babauta $1,000.<\/p>\n<p>Babauta is eligible for parole after completing 20 months of incarceration. (MCM)<\/p>\n<p>Hostage-takers to<br \/>\nbe sentenced today<\/p>\n<p>Four inmates who participated in the hostage-taking incident at the jail last March will be sentenced by the federal court today.<\/p>\n<p>US District Court Judge Alex Munson is set to read the sentence for Ben Ruchen, Sheldon Yano, Vicente Aldan, and Edwin Blas, who earlier pled guilty to hostage taking , among other federal charges.<\/p>\n<p>The four were among the inmates who took part in the 14-hour prison takeover that rocked Saipan in the morning of March 7.<\/p>\n<p>They were led by William Sablan, who was sentenced to 21 years of imprisonment last month.<\/p>\n<p>They ransacked the security locker and took a Smith&#038;Wesson gun they fired during the siege.<\/p>\n<p>They were pacified eventually in response to  pleadings from their families.
