All the top gun advisors who juggled major political and economic strategies behind closed doors have gone into private business. Second stringers too have left leaving the Clinton administration to third stringers.

The master evil puppeteer has walked the quiet corridors of the White House for more than five years now hoping to catch the ears of the president in his most vulnerable moment. He seemed to have succeeded which gave birth to the federal agenda for a takeover of the NMI. It’s the alleged tandem of Jeffrey Farrow and Allen Stayman.

Both are meticulous evil geniuses who allegedly formulated a grand scheme rumored to have emanated from labor unions’ bosses. Somehow, someone tipped-off the US House Resources Committee of an overt political activity that transcends the real issue: economics. It is how a subject of a US Congressional probe and we should be able to get a clear glimpse of the truth and nothing but the truth!

The alleged overt political activities illustrate in sterling fashion what can go wrong when little “power corrupts”. The evil geniuses of ruination have basically been given a free hand to map-out how to bring the NMI to its knees so each of the players can eventually say to union bosses “We did it!” But the probe has turned the tide against each of the third stringers who braved every iota of evil to compromise the democratic process.

Now, Representative Manuel A. Tenorio has introduced and saw the adoption of a resolution asking the US House Resources Committee to extend its probe to others in the NMI who contributed to the federal takeover agenda. It would be interesting to find out just who these tenth stringers are in the bent determination to ruin these islands permanently. From information that I have gathered, none of these tenth stringers who sided with our detractors are original descendants of Chamorros and Carolinians! Yet, they have the gall to speak loudly and arrogantly on behalf of the indigenous people as though we’re ignorant of our rights.

We’re talking of people who have no respect at all for our quiet voices on an issue that pertains with our future. Mind you, not only do you need to wake-up, but shut-up, too! We know what we want and definitely it is your turn to listen lest you’re asking to learn of local wraths that could just as well turn real nasty. In short, even a dog, when cornered begins to fight back. Let it be a peaceful and constructive engagement now and forever! In other words, the democratic process works in these isles. If you still disagree, one simple advice would do you good: stick in your ears!

For the tandem of Farrow and Stayman, you too obviously have no respect nor regard for local self-government. It seems you still live with the old TTG mentality when you descend from the blue skies of paradise convinced that you’re God’s gift to the islands. Nope! Mariana has grown-up and has learned the very essence of self-government however painful her experiences may be. But we haven’t given hope either for we know that someday we shall overcome! Let freedom ring “…from sea to shining sea!”

****

For all that may have gone wrong in our relationship (concoction of Pennsylvania Avenue), the fire of our belief in equality, justice and freedom rages like a towering inferno. Like other Americans throughout the country, we deserve nothing less than ascertaining that policies are made equally applicable. It’s high time that we work on commonalities focusing on “I Pluribus, Unum”. God bless our country and freedom fighters!

The Clinton Presidency is basically a lame duck administration.
