{"id":48225,"date":"1999-10-01T00:00:00","date_gmt":"1999-10-01T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/95067495-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e"},"modified":"1999-10-01T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"1999-10-01T00:00:00","slug":"950674ab-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/950674ab-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e\/","title":{"rendered":"NMC conducts Y2K training"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Northern Marianas College is currently conducting an intensive workshop-training on how to effectively use the Windows-based Non-Profit Series (NPS) accounting software.<\/p>\n<p>Attending the workshop are students and staff members of NMC&#8217;s budget and finance offices.<\/p>\n<p>The training is being conducted by Elizabeth Moore, a certified public account, and Ztech software consultant from Austin, Texas.<\/p>\n<p>The Windows-based NPS accounting software, built from the ground up, is completely different from the DOS-based Micro Information Product (MIP).<\/p>\n<p>However, both systems are Y2K compliant except that the MIP, being a DOS-based software, has limited features and flexibility.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Our plan is to restructure the basic accounting data.
