Did you know that there was a Chamorro-German and a Carolinian-German dictionary?<\/p>\n<p>The opening of the Tiempon Aleman Exhibit at the NMI Museum on November 17 at 6:00 p.m. will answer these as well as other questions you might have about the German period in the Northern Marianas.<\/p>\n<p>Governor Pedro P. Tenorio and Dr. Wolfgang Gottelman, ambassador of Germany to the Philippines and Micronesia, will officiate at the opening of the exhibit.<\/p>\n<p>The evening will also feature a &#8220;Taste of Germany&#8221; fundraising event, which will be held at the Museum private courtyard.  Chef extraordinary Hubert Fridle of Aqua Resort is sure to satisfy your discriminating palate with his German specialties.<\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;Taste of Germany&#8221; is a fundraising event for the Friends of the Museum.  Limited tickets are currently on sale at Coffee Care and Big Dipper for $20.00 per person.
